Arthroscopic Surgery

Arthroscopic Surgery is a type of minimally invasive surgery.  A small camera and special instruments are inserted into a joint to allow the surgeon to treat any problems that are noted.  Arthroscopic Surgery is used in many types of orthopedic procedures and is most commonly performed on the knee and the shoulder.  Often, a portion of a major surgery is done arthroscopically, and then another portion may be done using open incisions.
