Customer Services

We have established several goals that will help us provide you with the optimal patient experience. No medical practice or other business can satisfy all of its customers' desires all of the time. This fact will not prevent us from trying to keep our patients as satisfied as possible. Listed below are the 10 major areas we concentrate on to accomplish this goal:

Quick appointment availability

We will schedule your appointment in a timely fashion. Many appointments can be scheduled the next day, and most patients can be scheduled within one week. If your primary doctor or other referring doctor feels you need to be seen as soon as possible we will accommodate a same-day or next-day visit.

Easy and accurate insurance verification and referral verification

We are equipped with the latest computer technology to allow us to verify your insurance participation and verify referrals from your primary care physician. This will allow us to schedule your appointment more quickly and help to be sure your insurance will pay for your visit. To find out if our offices visit Accepted Insurance Plans.

Shorter waiting times in the office

We will provide adequate staff, facilities, and physicians to assure that you can be seen in a timely fashion. Being seen at the exact time of your appointment may not be possible. It is impossible to know ahead of time exactly how long each patient will need to spend with the physician. Emergency issues in orthopedic surgery often arise which can make us run behind schedule. Still, we will make a concerted effort to minimize your wait times. To decrease waiting time before seeing a physician we offer Patient Forms that you can print and fill out before your appointment.

Clear records of your fees and insurance coverage

Upon request, our financial staff can provide you an account statement which will show you exactly what charges you have incurred, what balance you owe, and if possible, what portion you can expect your insurance to cover.

Convenient location of ancillary facilities

We plan to have adjacent physical therapy, and nearby self-run MRI scan facilities. These are two of the services most commonly recommended by musculoskeletal and orthopedic physicians. We hope that having these services in the same building will make your overall experience easier.

Helpful ancillary scheduling

Our staff is trained to assist you in scheduling any ancillary services your doctor recommends for you. Scheduling these services can be difficult as many insurance plans restrict where you can go. We will arrange many of these services for you and confirm with your insurance provider that they expect to cover the appropriate costs.

Feedback to your primary or referring doctor

Our doctors will always provide written feedback to your primary or referring physician. This helps your regular doctor know what treatment you are receiving, and updates them as to your progress.

Accessible staff

We are committed to providing accessible staff to handle your inquiries and concerns. We can't guarantee an immediate response to your calls or emails, but we will do our best to make sure our phones are answered personally. Any messages left for the staff will be responded to in a timely fashion.

On site equipment

We will maintain a selection of commonly used orthopedic equipment for purchase, such as braces and splints, for your convenience. If your insurance clearly states that it will cover such equipment, we will bill your insurance company. Some insurers will force us to send you to other facilities for equipment to be paid for. You will still have the opportunity to purchase this equipment directly from us at very reasonable prices.

Clear payment policies

Our staff is trained to provide you accurate feedback regarding your bill and insurance payment. This is an incredibly complex topic, and nobody can know all of the nuances of every insurance payer. Still, we will strive to make this as simple as possible. We also have clear payment policies for patients who have elected not to carry health insurance. We also have information on government assistance programs that may be able to assist these persons. You can find out more about Our Policies here.
