Specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment of conditions associated with the foot and ankle, Dr. DeBarr has been practicing podiatric medicine and foot surgery since 1991.
Dr. DeBarr earned her BA degree in biology in 1984 from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. She received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 1989 from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
After completing podiatric medical school, Dr. DeBarr completed a two year podiatric surgical residency at Physicians and Surgeons Hospital in Atlanta. She briefly practiced in Florida. In 1992, she moved to Atlanta and opened her podiatric practice. Dr. DeBarr owns Foot Solutions, in Duluth, a foot care center which serves patients with properly fitting shoes, foot orthoses, and other foot care products.
Dr. DeBarr is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr. DeBarr is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Georgia Podiatric Medical Association, The American Society of Podiatric Dermatology, and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. DeBarr has medical staff privileges at Gwinnett Health System in Lawrenceville and Duluth, as well as Northlake Surgical Center located in Tucker.
Dr. DeBarr is involved with many sports activities and is an avid tennis player. She is married
with three children. She is a physician who cares and takes time to listen to your needs.
