Melissa Abernathy graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a BS in Family and Consumer Science.  She was born in Louisiana and now lives in Cumming, GA with her husband Andrew.  Melissa has been working for Atlanta Orthopedics for several years as Business Development Manager. 

Melissa’s main focus is marketing and business development. She helps Atlanta Orthopedics physicians establish relationships with other physicians in the surrounding areas.  Melissa also helps with getting Atlanta Orthopedics on local company’s workers compensation panels.
